This set includes 4 individual pie pans, and 4 different pie crust cutters for decorative tops, plus a junior rolling pin and pastry brush.
The pie crust cutters include 4 different pattens: square lattice, hearts, apples, and little chickens.
For best results, place your pie top cutter onto your pie crust dough and press down firmly. Using a paring knife trim the dough to match your outer dough circle. Flip the pie top cutter with its dough over and press the cutter firmly through the dough to break the cutouts from the rest. Then freeze the dough and pie cutter for 15 minutes before gently pulling the dough from the cutter.
The lattice cutter is a bit challenging to use, but the hearts, chickens, and apples are easy and fun for all ages.
For best results use bottom and top crusts and crimp the edges together. This will prevent the top crust from shrinking inward.
The nonstick mini pans are easy release.
