As Dream fondant is made with chocolate, it does require kneading prior to use.
Dream fondant is made with white chocolate which hardens when cool. To soften the fondant, knead using the heat of your hands. If need be, Dream can be placed in a microwave for 5-10 seconds at a time (on a low setting) until it gets to a desired softness.
Alternatively, knead small amounts of fondant until pliable, adding each well kneaded portion together until all is pliable.
Covering a cake: Crumb coat cake with buttercream. For best results, freeze or refrigerate coated cake before adding fondant. Knead fondant until soft and pliable on a clean surface with powdered sugar, then roll out to desired thickness. Lift, center over cake and gently drape. Smooth top and sides. Trim excess at the base.
