Microwave Foods In the QuickCrisp™ to Keep Food From Going Soggy and Rubbery
How do you keep breads and rolls and cakes from going soggy and rubbery in the microwave?
We've all been there - that desire to heat a donut in the microwave, or warm a slice of cake. But microwaved cake and donuts and pastry just turn soggy or rubbery.
Nordic Ware's innovative Micro QuickCrisp ™ allows you to warm them up without the sogg.
Great for warming cakes, pastries, donuts, or french toast!
Even better, snack between cake and cookie decorating sessions by heating up grilled cheese, personal sized pizzas, or even chicken and vegetables. It's a versatile microwaving and crisping option!
Nordic Ware pioneered this technology 3 decades ago and has finally perfected it to give you the best microwaving experience.
Browning pan is about 10"x10" rounded square total dimensions and 3.3" tall.
The aluminized steel microwave safe crisping plate is 6.5".
Comes with a vented splatter lid / cover.
How To
Pre-heat the base plate on high in the microwave for 3 minutes.
Place the food on the center browing pan and you'll notice a sizzle immediately.
Place the lid on top and return it to the microwave and microwave until warmed through.
For Microwave Use Only. Do not place in oven or use on stovetop.
Proper cleaning of your QuickCrisp after every use is imperative, as left-over oil or food residue can result in smoke and may damage your pan. To thoroughly wash, separate into three components (base, cook plate, and lid) and hand wash with warm soapy water, then rinse and dry each part.
Every microwave is different due to varying wattages and capacity. Therefore, the preheating time and cooking time can vary. For the first few uses of your QuickCrisp, you will need to determine the amount of time your microwave requires to preheat the pan to cooking temperature. This will be between 2 to 3 minutes total. Do not exceed 3 minutes preheat time.
When preheating QuickCrisp, always remove the lid.
If you plan to cook back to back with the QuickCrisp, it will need to be preheated again between uses, for 1-2 minutes without food. Do not exceed three back-to-back uses at a time to allow your microwave to cool down and safely operate.
