Local Delivery Services

  • We no longer offer local delivery, but shipping either UPS or USPS will get your items to your door within 1 to 2 business days.   

We offer Free Shipping on orders over $20.  Use code FREESHIP20 at checkout.  Packages will be shipped using the lowest rate option (which could be up to 10 business days), and via our preferred carrier option.  

Free Shipping Exclusions:

  • Must be within the Contiguous 48 States of the United States
  • Must select a shipping option lower than $12.00 from any available carrier.  Note that some packages will be oversized and may be above this cutoff amount and so cannot qualify for FREESHIP20.
  • Cannot be combined with other discount codes.  

DELAYED SHIPPING:

  • Requests for refunds in shipping or product due to delayed shipping will not be honored.  UPS and USPS have both canceled their shipping guarantees due to the unprecedented demand in their services.  We WILL NOT be held liable for shipping delays.
  • Please note that Parcel Select Ground is the slowest shipping method option. Your items will not go by air, but only from truck to truck, and in cases of overseas orders - truck and then by boat.  Please do not select this option if you need your items by a certain time frame.  This option means that your items are moved and touched and jostled more often as well increasing the risk of damage by the carrier.  Some items MUST ship Parcel Select Ground including aerosols, butane fuels, and any other product deemed dangerous or pressurized in flight.

Items Damaged In Transit:

  • Art Is In Cakes is not liable for damages that occur during shipping.
  • We do help you by handling your shipping claim.
  • If boxes are noticeably damaged, we recommend requesting a note in the shipping carrier records immediately.
  • Take lots of photos - the outside of the box, inside of the box, packing materials, and broken product.  
  • Requesting claims for damaged or missing packages through UPS, USPS, and other carriers can be a lengthy and frustrating process.  We understand that.  We cover most shipments with Shipsurance, a much faster and hassle free option for recovering costs associated with mis-delivered or damaged packages.  As a courtesy, we handle the claim for you and once approved, we process the refund to you.  We take the hassle out of shipping claims.  Packages sent to the wrong address will require more time to investigate and require first going through the carrier to request a trace/tracking information.  To begin a claim for damaged packages, we will need clear photos of the outside of the shipping box, inside of shipping box plus all packing materials enclosed, any damage to the box of the interior products, plus clear images of actual damage to the product inside.

Warm Weather Packing:

  • During warm weather, heat sensitive items may be shipped with an ice pack and extra insulating material.  

Processing:

  • Most orders placed on regular business days are processed the same day, Mon-Sat.
  • Cutoff for same day shipping is 12 noon CST to catch USPS and UPS Carriers.
  • Weekend Orders received after 1pm on Saturday will be processed the following Monday.
  • Orders placed on Holidays will process the first business day of our return to business.
  • Print on demand cookie cutters and stencils require an additional 48 hours of build time.
  • Estimated ship windows only reflect transit time, not processing time.
  • Please note, due to demands caused by Covid19, carriers are not currently honoring their guaranteed shipping time frames.
  • Select your preferred carrier and ship method and transit time frame at checkout.
