recipe makes roughly 1 house

Sift 300g of flour, the ginger, cinnamon, baking soda and salt into a large bowl
Set aside
Beat the butter in a bowl until light and creamy (about 2 minutes)
Add brown sugar add molasses and continue to cream the mixture
Beat in the egg and vanilla
Add flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until a thick dough forms
Add the remaining flour if needed to achieve the right consistency
If using a mold, press into mold and then refrigerate before baking, 15-20 minutes to prevent spreading when baking
Bake at 350 degrees F for 17-20 minutes or until corners begin to brown and centers are slightly firm
Remove from mold and chill on a wire rack
