Instant Read Thermometer Turns Red when the Cake is Done.
The tip of this reusable cake thermometer turns red when the cake has reached the proper internal temperature.
This is a much more accurate test than the old toothpick or skewer test, especially when measuring deep pans like 10 to 15 cup bundts.
On the plus side, it is also skewer sized, so you CAN tell that it comes out clean. Clean and red tip equals finished cake.
When your timer goes off, simply insert the tip of the thermometer into the center of the ring of batter in your bundt pan. Hold there for 5 seconds. Remove. If the tip is red, your cake is ready to remove from the oven.
Care and Use
Hand wash in warm, soapy water.
Avoid contact with open flame to avoid damaging the tip.
Thermometer comes with a protective silicone tip to protect the heat sensitive reader during storage.
Directions: insert in the thermometer tip to the approximate center point of your cake, avoiding the outer edge of the pan and the inner ring. When tip comes out clean and has changed color to red, you are ready to remove your cake from the oven.
