The tip of this reusable cake thermometer turns red when the cake is done and has reached the proper internal temperature.
This is a much more accurate test than the old toothpick or skewer test, especially when measuring deep pans like 10 to 15 cup bundts.
Hand wash in warm, soapy water.
Avoid contact with open flame to avoid damaging the tip.
Directions: insert in the thermometer tip to the approximate center point of your cake, avoiding the outer edge of the pan and the inner ring. When tip comes out clean and has changed color to red, you are ready to remove your cake from the oven.
